My Best Days ("My Best Days", "we", "us", or "our"), a product of Sihala Concepts, provides a period, cycle, and fertility tracking application for iOS and Android (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We know that cycle and reproductive data is deeply personal, and we treat it as sensitive health data accordingly.

We never sell your data, and we never use your health data for advertising.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a verified identifier and email from that provider.
  • Health & cycle data: period start/end dates, symptoms, mood, notes, basal body temperature, cervical mucus, intercourse logs, and pregnancy information that you choose to enter.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical & diagnostic data: limited device and app information needed to operate the service (for example, app version and platform) and, if enabled, a device token for reminders.
  • Anonymous usage analytics: when you open the app it sends a random, app-generated identifier (created on first launch) along with your platform and app version, so we can count how many people use My Best Days and how active they are. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, account, or any cycle or health data, and is not used for advertising or shared with third parties.
  • Subscription data: if you purchase Premium, our payments provider (RevenueCat) and the app stores process the transaction and share your subscription status with us. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

2. Where your data lives

My Best Days is offline-first. Your cycle and daily-log data is stored primarily on your device, and predictions are computed on your device. Signing in and syncing is optional — it exists only to back up your data and let you use My Best Days across multiple devices. When you sync, your data is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection to our servers and stored there so it can be restored to your devices.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide core features: tracking, calendar, predictions, reminders, charts, and pregnancy mode.
  • To create and secure your account and authenticate you.
  • To back up and synchronise your data across your devices (only if you sign in).
  • To manage Premium subscriptions and entitlements.
  • To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App's reliability and security.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We rely on your consent and the performance of our service to you as the legal bases for processing. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and do not use your health data for advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run My Best Days, and only as needed:

  • RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play — to process and validate subscriptions.
  • Google / Apple — if you choose social sign-in, to verify your identity.
  • Our hosting provider — to store synced data securely on our behalf.
  • Legal & safety — where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and synced data for as long as your account is active. You are in control:

  • Delete your account in the app at any time. This permanently deletes your account and associated data from our servers.
  • Uninstalling the App removes the local copy of your data from that device.
  • We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the App (view, edit, export, and delete). For any other request, contact us at privacy@bestdaysapp.com.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

8. Children

My Best Days is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children below this age; if you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Not medical advice

My Best Days is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a contraceptive and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your health.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated in the App where appropriate.
